Protectapeel Preservation 1074 is the base coat component of Protectapeel’s “Preservation System”. The Preservation System is designed for use as a long term, external or internal storage solution including mothballing of most non-porous surfaces including plastic, metal and painted surfaces. Protectapeel Preservation 1074 should only be used in conjunction with Protectapeel Preservation 1090.

The Preservation System is designed for use as a long term, external or internal storage solution including mothballing of most non-porous surfaces. Preservation 1090 IS NOT A PEELABLE COATING and should only be used on top of Preservation 1074. Protectapeel Preservation System Meets US Mil-C-6799C.

Protectapeel is spray-applied, quickly contouring to complex curved and shaped canopy surfaces without the need for measuring, cutting, or taping. The coating provides uniform coverage over critical optical areas, shielding them from dust, overspray, UV exposure, and handling wear.
When protection is no longer required, Protectapeel is easily removed by hand in a single peel, leaving no residue behind and ensuring maximum clarity and performance prior to deployment or system integration.
Aircraft Long-Term Storage & Preservation (Mothballing)
The Protectapeel Preservation System is designed for the long-term storage of aircraft, providing a robust, removable protective coating that safeguards critical surfaces against corrosion, contamination, UV exposure, moisture ingress, and handling damage.
The system meets U.S. MIL-C-6799C requirements, delivering compliant protection that supports asset preservation, inspection readiness, and efficient return-toservice.
Protectapeel is removed easily by hand peeling, leaving no residue and eliminating the need for solvents, abrasive cleaning, or rework enabling faster, safer reactivation of stored aircraft assets.
