project brief
The Vanissa Building is a striking mixed-use development located in Bangkok’s central business district. Inspired by the concept of Yin and Yang, the project features two interconnected towers:
Tower A – 12 storeys
Tower B – 22 storeys
Together, they deliver high-quality office, retail, and leisure spaces, including a swimming pool and gym facilities. With a distinctive glass façade, maintaining surface quality during construction was essential.

The Challenge of Protecting a High-Performance Glass Façade
The building's exterior is clad in a high-performance glass curtain wall, featuring diagonal design elements that enhance its architectural identity.
During construction, this façade was exposed to risks such as:
- Scratches from installation and site activity
- Dust and debris contamination
- Paint and material overspray
Protecting the integrity of this complex façade was critical to preserving the building's visual impact.
The Solution: Spray-Applied Temporary Curtain Wall Protection
To protect the glazing, Protectapeel temporary protective coating was applied directly to the curtain wall using spray equipment.
This spray-on, peelable coating formed a skin-tight protective film that:
- Maintained strong adhesion throughout the build
- Protected against scratches, dirt, and site contamination
- Allowed construction to proceed without delays
Its reliability made it ideal for a design-led project like the Vanissa Building.
the result
The use of Protectapeel delivered key benefits:
- Full protection of the glass curtain wall façade
- No loss of adhesion during construction
- Reduced risk of damage and costly rework
- Maintained progress with no delays to the build programme
